1099 Preparation

We are here to take the burden off of you, and we will complete and file your 1099 forms for all of your Contract Employees. Without this information being completed, you are responsible for paying taxes on money you paid out to someone else. Don't let that fall on your shoulders. We are here to help you.

Preparation Fees & Information

You have until January 31st, 2024 to have your 1099 forms complete, postmarked and mailed to your 1099 eligible employees. If you don't have them complete by this deadline, you are responsible to pay taxes on the income received, rather than the person you paid as a freelancer, contractor, etc.

 

You are required to send a form 1099, if you paid out more than $600 in a calendar year to someone that you paid to do work for your small or large business.

 

Cost to Prepare, submit & Mail is $15 per person.

 

You are not required to file form 1099 if any of the following situations apply:

> You are not engaged in a trade or business.

> You are engaged in a trade or business and the payment was made to another business that is incorporated but was not for medical or legal services or the sum of all payments made to the person or unincorporated business is less than $600 in one tax year.

Information that needs to be included in your documents upload on the Client Submission form are:

> Payee Name, First & Last

> Payee Social Security #

> Total amount paid to Payee

> Any information you want referenced on the 1099 form
